Ultrasonic welding is a process that uses mechanical vibrations above the audible frequency range . Ultrasonic Vibrations produced by a converter and transmitted by a perfectly tuned sonotrode or horn, as it is generally known, are used to melt the thermoplastic material at the joint line.
